Dear Friends,
“Dzień dobry” to all of you!   
 
This year, our fall newsletter letter reaches you exceptionally late. I’d like to share with you the basic information about the Polish Harvest Festival “DOŻYNKI” and forward to you the Polish Mass schedule.
 
Our annual DOŻYNKI - the traditional Polish Harvest Festival – will be Sunday, October 15, 2017. This event will begin with the Heritage Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Stanislaus Kostka church in Bay City, at which we’ll sing Polish hymns, thank God our Creator for the bountiful harvest and pray for the prosperity of our country and the country of our ancestors - Poland. After the Mass, the celebration will continue at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish Hall with the presentation of the harvest wreath, dinner, special games for children, as well as singing and dancing to the music of the Steve Drzewicki’s Polka Band until 8 PM. All are invited. Tickets for Polish Harvest Festival “DOŻYNKI” are available at the Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish office (989-893-6421) or from Dutch Heme (989-895-8942).  Adults - $20, children - $10. Let’s keep our Polish heritage alive. Let’s celebrate it!
 
You are also invited to participate in our monthly Mass celebrated in the Polish language. The schedule of liturgies in Polish is listed below.
 
WIGILIA, the ritual Polish Christmas celebration is scheduled for Saturday, December 16. More information about this event will be in our November newsletter.

Drodzy Przyjaciele!  Serdecznie wszystkich pozdrawiam.

W niedzielę, 15 października będziemy obchodzili doroczne DOŻYNKI. Zapraszamy wszystkich na te uroczystości – wiecej informacji w liście po angielsku.
 
Z wyprzedzeniem informuję, że tegoroczna Wigilia będzie miała miejsce w sobotę, 16 grudnia. Więcej informacji odnośnie Wigilii umieścimy w listopadowym wydaniu listu Towarzystwa.
